To introduce ARDF to amateurs who are new to this sport and want to more about the ARDF sport. This will also create opportunity for those who want to practice or test out their ARDF antennas/equipment. The fox beacons will be supplied by 9M2LC for this occasion. ARDF hunting equipment will be on display for those present to try out and familiarise with their performances.

X Isalnd, 25th Dec 2009, Its located next to Penang Bridge on left hand side towards to mainland. V60 community had discovered the island and landed at 08:00hrs on that day. About 8 station on the expedition. They had a great time over there, enjoy themself, NO rule & law at the lsland & NO traffic jam!! hahahah... Station in action are 9w2art, 9w2woc, 9w2xrt, 9w2pow, 9w2kob, 9w2zwz, Henry & Macha lawyer.

Hi guys here we come with some activities especially for our V60 community and its open to everybody as well. There will be a family friendship bowling activities at Bukit Jambul Complex on the 26th, December 2009, at 3pm. All are welcome to join and we estimate the budget per person around Rm15.00 . We going to play for 2 frame per person. This is a fun family days out and no prize will be given...the more the merrier....*Tok said "Drinking water is provided!" wow!..drinking water is on him..heheheh.

ILP Nibong Tebal, Saturday 24th Oct 2009. A group of hams called them self V60 Community and other hams join hand in hand to support for the Ham talks at the venue. They manage to brought out a few communication equipment set in oder them to make a demo to all the participant there. The ham talks lead by our Tok Penghulu 9W2ART and the rest of the hams members were supported on the equipments setup. We here in V60 community Penang would like to say Thank You to you guys and good job, not to forget to others hams also who supported during the Ham Talks & demo at ILP on that day. You guys have show a good spirit among hams....KUDOS!! to all involved.

Last but not least Special thanks to En Halim Pengarah of ILP Nibong Tebal Penang, invited us for the talks, your hospitality and cooperation are much appreciated.

Hari sabtu yang lepas satu event ARDF telah berjaya dijalankan. Krew-krew V60 telah membantu dengan mengganas sebagai musang-musang. krew-krew yang telah bertukar rupa menjadi musang ialah Budak Relay (bapak musang) Budak Rumah, Budak Hutan, Budak Kawah, Budak Hamna, Budak Kargo, Tok Penghulu dan beberapa SWL (Ashraf dan sorang aku dah lupa nama hehehe, I'm Sorry) Budak Hitam dok ronda dengan Van Putih yg ada lampu liplap². Apa pun Tahniah kepada semua krew yang telah membantu dan terima kasih kerana sudi meluangkan masa dan selamat datang kepada kawan kita dari seremban 9W2BRO (kalau datang penang jgn lupa calling² di 146.550).

3rd. day Aprill fool!!! V60 community enjoy Ramvong (Thai Tradisonal Dance) at Kem SUKBEL 09 ( Perkehemahan Sukarela Bulan Sabit Merah Malaysia - BSMM & Belia) at Bendang Man Resort, Daerah Sik, Kedah. 4 days 3 night camp involve with 3500 participants including Thailand, Mynmar(Burma), Bangladesh, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, Brunei and of course Malaysia as a host!!!!

During the programs there is a lot of activities have been done. The climax is the culture nite show from every countries and state. V60 community send their rep to have fun in the jungle with them..... The culture show was fun and very good even they perform it the jungle with heavy rain....Tok Penghulu was appointed as a Survival & Safety Facilitator during the event.... He bring together Budak Hutan, Budak Kawah & Budak Jepun to enjoy the camp and learn to survive with him in the jungle.... the picture below is more than a thousand words..... enjoyyy...!!!!! So for the rest of v60 community...just wait for the next event.....lets Ramvong bebbbb....

NEWS FROM MALAYSIAN RED CRECENT
Youth and volunteer gathering namely SUKBEL 09 will be held from 1st April till 4th April 2009 in Sik, Kedah, Malaysia. Around 3,000 youth and volunteers of Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) members and Rakan Muda from the Ministry of Youth & Sports will take part in this gathering. Not forgotten our sister National Societies such as Thailand Red Cross, Vietnam Red Cross, Hong Kong Red Cross, Korea Red Cross and Bangladesh Red Cross are among the National Societies confirmed to take part in this yearly gathering.

As for the Movement campaign “Our World, Your Move” in conjunction with the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Solferino, the 90th anniversary of the founding of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the 60th anniversary of the Geneva Conventions, the ultimate goal for the gathering is to inspire the spirit of volunteerism with all of their heart and soul. Being the humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by the Fundamental Principles of the Movement in providing relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies is what the Red Crescent does best.

The official opening will be graced by YTM Tunku Panglima Besar Dato’ Seri Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz bte KDYMM Tuanku Sultan Hj. Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah, Chairman of the MRC Kedah, Branch.
